Bullet to the Head tells the story of James Bonomo (Sylvester Stallone) who is a high paid hitman. After a mission success with his partner, the two go to a bar to collect their shares of the money for the job. The two are set up, and a mercenary (Jason Momoa) kills Bonomo’s partner. Bonomo then teams up with Taylor Kwon (Sung Kang), a WDC cop who came to Louisiana to find the same man that Bonomo is looking for.
The theatrical development of the film has the taste that Sylvester Stallone has always had in his movies, whether directing the film or being in it or both. The filmography is very well done and the action scenes were all unexpected and kept the viewer surprised throughout the film. The humor in the film between Stallone and Kang was hilarious and they both always managed to get a laugh out of everybody. The fight scenes were very enticing and kept the viewer cheering for Stallone due to the fear of him falling.
The cast was greatly chosen and the story was a full out action tale, with the usual comedy sprinkles that Stallone is always known for. If a sequel is in talks or already in the works, then I will definitely be seeing that one as well.
I highly recommend this movie to anyone in search of a great action flick, and everyone in general who wants to see a good movie.
