A decade has passed since the epic adventures of a phenomenal franchise began with 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' in 2001. And since then we have received 6 more entries to the worldwide hit, currently now the highest-grossing franchise in existence. But now, the true summer movie everyone has been waiting for has arrived: 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2'.


For some time now I've been asking myself if they'll bring an installment out from the Harry Potter movie series that has the quality of a masterpiece, and while every one of them is better than decent, none have completely lived up to the expectations of 'masterpiece'. Until July 15, 2011. When I witnessed this motion picture at the 12:00 A.M. showing at the theater, I realized this was one of the best films ever created.

Following the events of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1' (released November 18, 2010), chosen hero Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) sets out to uncover and destroy the remaining Dark Lord Voldemort’s (Ralph Fiennes) horcruxes (pieces of his soul put into living/non-living objects) with the help of trusted friends Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson).

After a fearsome escapade in Bellatrix Lestrange's (Helena Bonham-Carter) bank vault at Gringott's in search of another horcrux, the trio of friends return to their roots when they find themselves battling back at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, now run by the new headmaster Severus Snape (Alan Rickman).

This film is more than just a plotline created with actors and effects to be put into it. The motion picture itself is packed with dazzling effects/action, heartbreaking emotion, satisfying reveals, and just a magnificent story from author J.K. Rowling put into a movie.

If you're a Potter fan, there's no question the first time you'll see this, it will keep you on the edge of your seat in contemplation of what could occur next. From a dangerous escapade in Gringotts, searches and executions of horcruxes, countless sacrifices and deaths, and magic spells flying through Hogwarts, this film proves itself to be watchable for anybody.

In my opinion, this is not only the best Harry Potter film we'll ever see, but one of the best films ever made. A truly great satisfying end only shows you they tied up basically every loose end, including a thirst for spectacular action! This is definately a day 1 pickup for me when it releases on DVD, don't miss out on watching this.
