horribe-bosses-2

Ok, so the best part of Horrible Bosses 2 was when the credits rolled and it showed the out-takes. I went to see this movie before a biopsy I had scheduled for later that day, so that I could laugh and ease my nerves about my scheduled biopsy. Needless to say, I walked out wondering if it was too late to ask for a refund, and was anxious to get the hell out of there and get to my doctor’s office.

It is a great cast, and Jennifer Aniston does an amazing job as a crude sex vixen, but that was not enough to save this movie from sucking its own c**k. The beginning started off with a few chuckles, but it feels like (from an audience member’s point of view) that the writers are trying too hard to be funny. If they let the actors go off script like they do in the credits, I’m pretty sure the movie would have been a whole lot funnier.

Trying to “push” comedy on people by saying stupid one liners doesn’t really do it anymore. Besides the corny script, it was a little unbelievable. Towards the end I was literally screaming at the screen “oh c’mon, no character is THIS stupid”. I am a huge movie buff, and typically enjoy cheesy comedies, but this one just was a waste of time and money.

And we get it, Jason Sudekis, you’re a “funny” guy, but that doesn’t mean you have to be “funny” in every scene…it’s like watching a bad Seth Rogen movie…ok guys we get it, YOU’RE HILARIOUS with your one liners and “witty” comebacks.

Save your $7 and rent this movie on Redbox if you really need to see it!
