Best Quotes from Trailer:
Jeff Gaffney: This is what I love about HR; you learn these little intricacies about people.
Karen Gaffney: [to Jeff] Honey, what am I really doing this summer? I mean sent the kids away to camp, I’m redesigning bathrooms.
Meg Craverston: Think Brooklyn, exposed brick and a urinal.
Dan Craverston: Meg wants me standing up again.
Karen Gaffney: Yeah.
[Karen watches Tim picking up Diana outside their new home]
Jeff Gaffney: The new neighbors aren’t wasting time moving in, are they?
Karen Gaffney: Hi, honey.
Jeff Gaffney: Still spying on the new neighbors?
[he gasps in shock when he turns and sees Tim and Diana sat with Karen]
Tim Jones: Hi.
Natalie Jones: We’re the Joneses.
Natalie Jones: Such a lovely street.
Tim Jones: The Chinese don’t even have a word for a street like this. They would say…
[he starts speaking in Mandarin]
Jeff Gaffney: It sounds cool coming out of your mouth.
[referring to the Joneses]
Karen Gaffney: Do you know that there’s something off about them. They’re both so overly accomplished and stylish.
Club Waiter: Welcome to the Cobra Club!
Tim Jones: A little different than you expected, huh?
[looking at the wine bottle]
Jeff Gaffney: That looks like a real snake.
Club Waiter: Snake wine, that’s real cobra.
Jeff Gaffney: Do you have tap?
Karen Gaffney: [to Jeff] I’m following Natalie Jones.
[as Karen tries to spy outside Natalie’s dressing room the door suddenly opens]
Natalie Jones: Hello, Karen.
Karen Gaffney: Natalie!
Natalie Jones: I was just leaving Tim a voicemail. He likes to hear from me when I’m trying on lingerie, it’s one of our things. Do you and Jeff have a thing?
Karen Gaffney: We do it really fast in case the kids come running into our room.
Natalie Jones: Hmm.
[spying on the Joneses late at night with her binoculars]
Karen Gaffney: Who are these people?
Karen Gaffney: We need evidence.
Jeff Gaffney: I just want to make sure this is not paranoia.
[after breaking into the Joneses house and finding maps on their computer]
Jeff Gaffney: What is this?
Karen Gaffney: There’s a missile!
Jeff Gaffney: That’s me! What is all this stuff?
[after Jeff hits her accidently with a tranquilizer dart from a pen]
Karen Gaffney: Honey is that you? Mama wants a cuddle.
Jeff Gaffney: The Joneses, they’re not who they say they are.
Tim Jones: [to Jeff] Here’s the thing about trust, once it’s gone bad things can happen.
Karen Gaffney: It’s the Joneses!
[Tim points his gun at them]
Tim Jones: Get in the car, now!
[quietly to Jeff]
Karen Gaffney: I’m going to count to three, we’re going to run, okay? One, two…
[suddenly Jeff starts running off]
Tim Jones: Oh, my God.
[Natalie shoots her gun in the air]
Karen Gaffney: Jeff!
Tim Jones: You can’t be serious.
Jeff Gaffney: I was making a head start!
Karen Gaffney: On your wife!
[Karen gets a call as they’re in the back of the Joneses car who are driving really fast]
Karen Gaffney: Hello, sweetie. No, the cookies are for both of you. Well just split the last one.
[suddenly another car starts shooting at the back window of the Joneses car, Jeff grabs Karen’s phone]
Jeff Gaffney: Just split the cookie! Split the cookie!
Jeff Gaffney: [to Jeff] This tie’s been fitted with a miniature surveillance mic, it’s completely undetectable.
[we see Karen and Jeff walk into a room when men with guns walks in; Jeff suddenly yells into his tie]
Jeff Gaffney: Help! Help!
[as they are being searched]
Karen Gaffney: We don’t get out very often so we’d really like to make the most of it.
