Sci-fi thriller directed by Daniel Espinosa which follows the six-member crew of the International Space Station, which includes Roy Adams (Ryan Reynolds) and Dr. David Jordan (Jake Gyllenhaa), that is tasked with studying a sample from Mars that may be the first proof of extra-terrestrial life. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.

[Hugh pulls one arm out of the glass box but he can’t pull his other arm out]
Miranda North: How hard is it holding onto you?
Hugh Derry: Like a, like a firm handshake.
[referring to Hugh]
David Jordan: His heart rate is at 165.
Hugh Derry: It’s in between my fingers.
Roy Adams: Can I make a suggestion, can I just, can I go in there and get him and bring him back out where it’s safe?
Miranda North: No, you’re not going to go in there. No, of course you’re not because we have to maintain quarantine, stop.
