I am not a heavy crier, in fact I am always the last one to cry. But during Rise of Planet of Apes I cried more than ten times. True I am an animal lover, but whoever does not feel sad during this movie could be considered heartless. I found the movie terrible. Maybe for a documentary it would have worked or a tragedy, but even so, that much let down can be too much for one. So overall if you are an animal lover this is not the movie for you! 2/5 stars
