Story: Sci-fi thriller written directed and written by Alex Garland and the story centers on Lena (Natalie Portman), a biologist who puts her name forward for an expedition into an environmental disaster zone in order to search for her husband (Oscar Isaac) who went missing when he went on the expedition with a secret agency.

The expedition team is made up of an anthropologist, Anya Thorensen (Gina Rodriguez), a psychologist (Jennifer Jason Leigh), and a surveyor (Tessa Thompson). They arrive expecting the unexpected, they discover a massive topographic anomaly and life forms that surpass understanding, but it’s the surprises that came across the border with them, and the secrets the expedition members are keeping from one another, that change everything.
