Laramie Seymour Sullivan: [to Flynn] First time at the El Royale?
Hotel Concierge: You have the option to stay either in California or Nevada.
Laramie Seymour Sullivan: I always wanted to stay in the honeymoon suite, even though I’m not currently on my honeymoon.
[to the seven strangers]
Hotel Concierge: The El Royale is a bi-state establishment. You have the option to choose a room in either California or Nevada.
Darlene Sweet: How did you end up at the El Royale?
Father Daniel Flynn: The Ritz-Carlton was booked.
Father Daniel Flynn: What are you doing out here?
Darlene Sweet: I got a job singing in Reno tomorrow. It don’t pay nothing, but singing is singing.
Laramie Seymour Sullivan: This place used to be hustling and bustling. Old Dean Martin even sang a song about it once.
Hotel Concierge: This is not a place for a priest, Father. You shouldn’t be here.
Laramie Seymour Sullivan: We might need to work on your sales pitch, son. “The El Royale, no place for a priest.”
Father Daniel Flynn: Are you watching me?
Hotel Concierge: I only watch who they tell me to watch.
Father Daniel Flynn: Who’s they?
Hotel Concierge: Management.
Laramie Seymour Sullivan: Would you mind opening up the door?
Emily Summerspring: No, I ain’t going to do that.
Darlene Sweet: We have to get away as far away from him possible.
Billy Lee: Howdy.
Billy Lee: It’s a little too quiet in here, it gives me the willies.
[on a payphone]
Laramie Seymour Sullivan: Sir, we have a problem.
Billy Lee: Did you think that you could just take what’s mine and I wouldn’t come a hunting?
Emily Summerspring: No, I figured you would, but I’d be ready when you did.
Darlene Sweet: Are you lost, Father?
Father Daniel Flynn: Could I confess something to you?
[Darlene points a gun at Flynn]
Father Daniel Flynn: I’m not really a priest.
Darlene Sweet: Yeah, no shit.
Billy Lee: It’s a game. It all starts with a simple choice. Which side are you on? Right? Wrong? God or no God? Red or black?
Hotel Concierge: [to Flynn] I’ve done horrible things.
Father Daniel Flynn: So has everybody. Shit happens, so get the whisky.
