Look at your surroundings on your way to work – What do you see? The concrete jungle, the people, the stalls, the few left over trees, the vehicles, the bla-bla-bla… Do you notice – the people breaking signals? The vehicles parked in no parking zones? The trees cutting in a concrete jungle where it is much needed? Mostly, no. And if few of us notice these matters in our country India, we just blindly keep up with our job that doesn’t include CHANGE IN SOCIETY. The character of Bhavesh Joshi in this movie doesn’t do that. He is optimistic about the change in the society, be it with the help of his friends or be it single handedly.
This is the story of three friends – Bhavesh Joshi (Priyanshu Painyuli), Sikander Khanna (Harshvardhan Kapoor) and Rajat (Ashish Verma). The movie starts with casual talk among the friends about the situation in corruption ridden India. They start a small movement called ‘INSAAF’ aiming positive change in society without any authoritarian support. Although, the other two are not so positive about the change in the country single handedly, here is our strongest character from the film – Bhavesh Joshi who continues to fight against the system.
The difference between Bhavesh Joshi and the other youth of country is that Bhavesh is not to give up and never fears even if the death comes in his way between his visionary India and the corruption. He keeps fighting and finally loses his life as he gets murdered by the powerful people. After Bhavesh’s death, Sikander firmly decides to continue to fight against system and the corruption to make a better and corruption free India. While Sikander continues to fight, Rajat warns him continuously. Finally, Rajat too joins hands with Sikander realizing he needs help. Watch the movie for the lasting inspiration which may take over your mind to do something for the country you live in.
Watch the movie for the much needed inspiration as every other high class officer is corrupted in our present India. The inspiration derived from this movie can help you getting moved to get over corruption and to make you believe that the change can happen if you start. The character Bhavesh Joshi really is powerful and has the strength to shake our minds and to let up open our eyes when it comes to the system or call it un-system which has turned upside down and totally unsystematic. So let us stop blaming and take the step ahead for the change we desire.
Watch the movie also for the outstanding performance by all the main characters – especially Priyanshu Painyuli who stole my heart away with his acting skills and his powerful performance.
It is painful to watch the movie (as it depicts what really happens to the people who stand up against the system), especially first half, if you deeply get connected to the characters. Still I would strictly recommend the movie also for its outstanding plot and direction of Vikramaditya Motwane. The movie is more like a realistic scene going on around me rather than the fictional story. It surely will leave a great impact in your heart and your mind.
