Brandon Breyer: Mom, who am I?
Mrs. Breyer: You are a gift.


Mrs. Breyer: [to Brandon] I know it’s been difficult for you lately, that you feel different from other kids. You are different. After your dad and I got married we prayed for a baby for so long. One night someone listened.


Mrs. Breyer: [to Brandon] You are special. We believe that you came here for a reason.


[after being pushed to the ground by the other kids]

Mrs. Breyer: No! It was like he was drawn to it.


Mr. Breyer: Maybe there is something wrong with Brandon.


[referring to Brandon]
Mr. Breyer: He may look like us. He’s not like us!


Mrs. Breyer: I will never turn against our son.
Mr. Breyer: He’s not our son!


Mrs. Breyer: Something wrong?
Chief Deputy Deever: Is your boy around by any chance?


Brandon Breyer: You are the only people in the world that knows how special I am.


[news report referring to the jet crash in Brightburn, Kansas]
Reporter: There are believed to be no survivors among the two hundred sixty-eight passengers onboard.


Mrs. Breyer: [to Brandon] Whatever you’ve done, I know there is good inside you.
