The story follows the once-popular writer Thelonious “Monk” Ellison (Jeffrey Wright) as he navigates the ever-changing publication landscape in a fight to stay relevant to modern-day readers. The cast also includes Tracee Ellis Ross, John Ortiz, Erika Alexander, Leslie Uggams, Adam Brody, Keith David, Issa Rae, and Sterling K. Brown.
Fantasy spy action thriller based on the novel of the same name by first-time author Elly Conway. The story centers on Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard), a best-selling author who discovers that her popular spy stories that feature secret agent Argylle (Henry Cavill), have somehow began reflecting reality. The cast also includes Sam Rockwell, Henry Cavill, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Arthur the King (2024)
Bio-drama adventure based on the book “Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home” by Mikael Lindnord. Based on a true story that centers on pro adventure racer Michael Light (Mark Wahlberg) who adopts a stray dog named Arthur to join him in an epic endurance race.
Drama inspired by the photo-book of the same name by Danny Lyon. The story follows the rise of a Midwestern motorcycle club through the lives of its members as the club evolves over the course of a decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang, threatening the original group’s unique way of life. The cast includes Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Norman Reedus, and Boyd Holbrook.
Bio-sports drama based on the book of the same name by Daniel James Brown. The story is set during the height of the Great Depression and follows members of the rowing team at the University of Washington as they get thrust into the spotlight when they compete for gold at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. The cast includes Callum Turner, Joel Edgerton, and Chris Diamantopoulos.
Musical period drama adapted from the novel of the same name by Alice Walker. The story follows Celie (Fantasia Barrino), a Black Southern woman in the early 20th century who is abused by her father and husband. The cast also includes Danielle Brooks, Colman Domingo, Corey Hawkins, Taraji P. Henson, H.E.R, and Halle Bailey.
Supernatural superhero based on the comic book series of the same name by James O’Barr. The story follows Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård), a murdered musician who is resurrected to avenge the deaths of himself and his fiancée (FKA Twigs).
Sci-fi adventure sequel, the second of a two-part adaptation of the novel “Dune” by Frank Herbert. The story continues the journey of Paul Atreide (Timothée Chalamet) as he unites with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen while seeking revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future that only he can predict. The cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgård, and Dave Bautista.
Bio drama based on the biography “Enzo Ferrari: The Man and the Machine” by Brock Yates. The story centers on automotive mogul Enzo Ferrari (Adam Driver), whose family redefined the idea of the high-powered Italian sports car and practically spawned the concept of Formula One racing. The cast also includes Penélope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Sarah Gordon, Gabriel Leone, Jack O’Connell, and Patrick Dempsey.
The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023)
Dystopian action adventure prequel based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. Set years before the events of the Hunger Games trilogy. The story centers on 18 year-old Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth), who is the last hope for his fading lineage. He sees a chance for a change in his fortunes when he is chosen to be a mentor for the Tenth Hunger Games, only to have his elation dashed when he is assigned to mentor the girl tribute, Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler), from impoverished District 12. The cast also includes Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer, Josh Andrés Rivera, Jason Schwartzman, and Viola Davis.
Romantic comedy based on the love story of the same name by Robinne Lee. The story follows a love affair between 40 year-old divorced mother, Solène (Anne Hathaway), and the lead singer of the hottest boyband on the planet, Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine).
Killers of the Flower Moon (2023)
Western crime drama based on the non-fiction book “Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI” by David Grann. The story centers on the members of the Osage tribe in northeastern Oklahoma who are murdered under mysterious circumstances in the 1920s, sparking a major FBI investigation involving J. Edgar Hoover. The cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Plemons, Lily Gladstone, Robert De Niro, Brendan Fraser, and John Lithgow.
The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024)
Action comedy based on the book “Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII” by Damien Lewis. Inspired by true events following a secret British World War II organization, the Special Operations Executive. Founded by Winston Churchill, their irregular warfare against the Nazis helped to change the course of the war and gave birth to modern black operations. The cast includes Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin,Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes.
Bio-sports drama based on the autobiography “Find a Way” by Diana Nyad. Tells the rue story of athlete Diana Nyad (Annette Bening) who, at the age of 60, and with the help of her best friend and coach, Bonnie Stoll (Jodie Foster), commits to achieving her life-long dream, a110 mile open ocean swim from Cuba to Florida.
Bio-drama based on the book “American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer” by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Based on the story of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy), who is credited with being the “father of the atomic bomb” for his role in the Manhattan Project, the World War II undertaking that developed the first nuclear weapons. The ensemble cast includes Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Kenneth Branagh, and Gary Oldman.
Animated fantasy adventure comedy based on the children’s book of the same name by Emma Yarlett. The story follows unassuming shy school kid Orion (Jacob Tremblay) who has an irrational fear of many things, including the dark. But when the literal embodiment of his worst fear pays a visit, Dark (Paul Walter Hauser) whisks Orion away on a roller coaster ride around the world to prove there is nothing to be afraid of in the night.
Sci-fi romance based on the novel of the same name by Alasdair Gray. The story follows the fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Emma Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn and see more of the world. Bella then runs off with debauched lawyer, Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo) on an adventure across the continents.
Sci-fi drama based on the novel “Spaceman of Bohemia” by Jaroslav Kalfař. the story follows Jakub (Adam Sandler), an astronaut sent to the edge of the galaxy to collect mysterious ancient dust who finds his earthly life falling to pieces. He turns to the only voice, Hanus (Paul Dano), who can help him try to put it back together. It just so happens to belong to a creature from the beginning of time lurking in the shadows of his ship. The cast also includes Carey Mulligan, Kunal Nayyar, Isabella Rossellini, Kunal Nayyar, and Lena Olin.
Supernatural horror based on the novel of the same name by A. M. Shine. The story centers on Mina (Dakota Fanning), a young artist who gets stranded in an extensive, immaculate forest in Ireland, where, after finding shelter, she becomes trapped alongside three strangers, stalked by mysterious creatures each night.
White Bird: A Wonder Story (2024)
War drama based on the graphic novel of the same name by R. J. Palacio. Spin-off sequel and prequel to the film Wonder (2017), the story follows Julian Albans (Bryce Gheisar), who has left Beecher Prep for good, and he is visited by his grandmother (Helen Mirren) from Paris, who tells him stories of her childhood as a young Jewish girl, Sara (Ariella Glaser), in Nazi-occupied France during World War II, while being hidden from the Nazis by a distant classmate and his parents. The cast also includes Gillian Anderson, and Orlando Schwerdt.
Musical fantasy based on the novel “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West” by Gregory Maguire and characters from the novel “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum. The story follows the unlikely friendship emerging between Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) and Glinda (Ariana Grande), two clashing witches in the magical land of Oz. But then Elphaba is wrongfully cast as a wicked witch as she seeks to expose the fraudulent, corrupt Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) who rules the land. The cast includes Jonathan Bailey and Michelle Yeoh.
Sci-fi adventure based on the book series of the same name by Peter Brown. The story follows Rozzum 7134, “Roz” for short (Lupita Nyong’o), a futuristic robot that washes ashore on a deserted island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned baby goose. The cast includes Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Mark Hamill, and Ving Rhames.
