Action crime drama remake directed and co-written by Eli Roth which follows Dr. Paul Kersey (Bruce Willis), a surgeon who only sees the aftermath of Chicago violence when it is rushed into his ER. However, when his wife, Lucy (Elisabeth Shue), is killed and his daughter, Jordan (Camila Morrone), is rendered comatose after they are viciously attacked in their suburban home, Paul, seeking for revenge, becomes a hardened vigilante and hunts his family’s assailants to deliver justice. As the anonymous slayings of criminals grabs the media’s attention, the city wonders if this deadly vigilante is a guardian angel or a grim reaper.
