Stoick the Vast: [to young Hiccup] This is Berk, son. It’s my job as chief to protect us, and one day, when you’re all grown up, that job will be passed onto you. And out there, beyond the sunset lies the home of the dragon, and I believe it is your destiny to one day find this hidden world, so that people and dragons will fight no more.
Stoick the Vast: [to young Hiccup] This is Berk, son. It was the home of your grandparents, and their grandparents before them. But out there, beyond the edge of the world, lies the home of the dragons, and I believe it’s your destiny to one day find this hidden world.
Hiccup: There were dragons when I was a boy. Where they lived, only a few know. Our story changed the world forever.
Hiccup: We did it! The world’s first dragon Viking utopia.
Gobber: Your utopia maybe. Mine’s less crowded and more… Ah!
[he sees a dragon floating in the soup]
Gobber: … sanitary.
Hiccup: [Toothless] You do know that my leg isn’t a chew toy, don’t you?
[referring to his false leg]
Hiccup: Is this what you want? Go get it!
[he throws his false leg and Toothless runs after it and flies off]
Hiccup: Uh, how am I supposed to get down?
Hiccup: Hey, bud, where are you going?
[he follows Toothless who has found a female dragon like himself]
Hiccup: Oh, my God. He’s not the only one.
[after Toothless comes across a female dragon like himself]
Astrid: Another Night Fury.
Hiccup: She’s more like a bright…
Astrid: A Light Fury.
Hiccup: Yeah, yours is better probably.
[the female dragon notices Hiccup and Astrid and flies off]
Hiccup: Oh, sorry.
Astrid: Did she just disappear?
[referring to the female Light Fury]
Hiccup: Toothless, go introduce yourself.
Astrid: Toothless has a girlfriend.
Valka: [to Hiccup] There is an armada, with enough cages for all of our dragons.
Grimmel: I’ve hunted every Night Fury, except yours. Hand him over.
Hiccup: I will never give him up.
Grimmel: Then I will destroy everything you love.
Hiccup: We are no longer safe here. We all have to disappear, completely off the map. We have to fight for their freedom.
Hiccup: If Grimmel succeeds, there won’t be any dragons left, and it’s up to us to put an end to it! We have one shot at this.
Hiccup: This is a new kind of enemy. We need to find the hidden world.
Grimmel: [to Hiccup] I will destroy everything you love. You’re nothing without your dragon.
Hiccup: You brought a baby to a battle?
Fishlegs: I couldn’t find a sitter.
Hiccup: [to Toothless] Show them what you’ve got, bud.
[referring to Toothless; to the female Light Fury]
Hiccup: Save him.
Hiccup: [to Toothless] It’s you and me, bud. Always.
Hiccup: It’s the hidden dragon world.
Hiccup: The hidden world, it really does exist.
Astrid: Now that’s a king.
