We’ll add the best quotes once the movie is released and we’ve had a chance to watch it, but for now here’s a small selection.
Robert: After this person. And clear.
[Dolio starts to checkout the Postal Office security system]
Old Dolio: There’s a camera there. There. And there.
[opening the packages they’ve stolen]
Theresa: Cash. No. Mini order.
Robert: This is not a cheap tie.
Robert: Post people want to be kajillionares. That’s the dream. That’s how they get you hooked. Hooked on sugar. Hooked on caffeine. Ha-ha-ha. Cry, cry, cry. Me, I prefer to just skim.
Old Dolio: So do I.
Landlord: February, March, April.
Robert: Uh, we may have to pay in installments.
Landlord: Rent is an installment! It’s a monthly installment.
[to Dolio, referring to Robert and Theresa]
Melanie: They are real characters. Super unique. But you vouch for them, right?
[referring to Dolio]
Robert: She learned to forge before she learned to write. Well, actually that’s how she did learn to write.
Melanie: My favorite movies are the Ocean 11 movies. This is exactly the kind of thing that I’ve been wanting.
[referring to the earthquake]
Robert: This is where the big one starts. If you’re lucky, you’ll get crushed, and then you just die, right then and there.
Theresa: [to Melanie] So, what do your parents doing, hon?
Old Dolio: Hon? You’ve never called me that. But you could do if it was a job though, right?
Theresa: [to Dolio] You want us to be false fakey people. We don’t make pancakes, or wrap up little birthday presents. Or call you “sweetheart”, or “baby”, or do a little dance.
Melanie: You’re addicted to them.
Old Dolio: They’re my parents.
Melanie: In what sense?
Old Dolio: We split everything three ways. We have since I was little.
Old Dolio: I don’t want to do it that way this time.
Old Dolio: I always thought it was insulting to treat you like a child. And I thought we agreed on that.
Old Dolio: We can only ever be how we are.
