Starring: Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Paddy Considine, Sean Harris, Jack Reynor, Elizabeth Debicki, David Thewlis

Story: Directed by Justin Kurzel based on William Shakespeare’s play of the same name which tells the story of fearless warrior and inspiring leader Macbeth (Michael Fassbender) who after receiving a prophecy that one day he will become King, consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife (Marion Cotillard), murders his king and takes the throne for himself.

Verdict: Gritty interpretation with great acting by the leads but unless you really understand the Shakespearean language you might have a problem understanding what’s being said.
