Best Quotes

Desi: What’s missing from my neck, Jacqueline, is my fourteen karat Golden Gloves pendant. That I’ll have to hock for cash to pay your now former employer, and beg her not to press charges on you for assaulting a kid, and destroying his phone. What the f***’s the matter with you? You’re assaulting kids, now? Is that really necessary?
Jackie Justice: That was super necessary.

Desi: [to Jackie] You were born to fight. Born to fight. I mean, that s**t was God-given. What do you do instead? You want to f***ing fight me.

Jackie Justice: I don’t want to fight. How many f***ing times do I got to tell you that? I’m happy!
Desi: You’re happy. You’re happy scrubbing toilets for snobby rich-a** m**herf***ers? That fulfills your f***ing purpose?

Jackie Justice: You’re a lousy-a** manager! That’s why. You’re a f***ing drunk, that couldn’t a goddamn manage a popsicle stand.
Desi: That’s what you f***ing think of me?
Jackie Justice: You’re a part-time limo driver and a full-time loser! That’s what you are!

Jackie Justice: [after she’s forced to fight] I ain’t never going to forgive you.
Desi: For what, babe?
Jackie Justice: For this s**t.
Desi: Look at you. What you talking about? You’re alive again.

Immaculate: [to Jackie] You used to be in the UFC, huh? Yeah, I got mad love for the UFC. Look, how about this? How about you fight in my league, and I’ll get you back in the UFC?

Angel: If it ain’t Muhammad Ali.
Jackie Justice: What you doing here?
Angel: Haven’t heard from her in years, and that’s our welcome. Well, I got a nice surprise for you.

Angel: [to Jackie, referring to Manny] That’s your son. That baby, the one you dumped on his dad? Yeah, well his daddy died.

Desi: What do you talking about the father died?
Angel: Bullet to the head. She told me Manny senior worked undercover and he got got. Little Manny here witnessed it, but he ain’t talking.

Angel: [to Jackie] Look, this ain’t my mess. This is your mess. For once in your life, girl, handle your business.

Desi: Jackie can’t take on a kid. I mean, look at her. She’s a f***ing fighter.
Angel: One hell of a fighter. That look like a big-a** winner to you?

Desi: [to Manny, referring to the bruises on Jackie’s face] Oh, no, no. She just fell down a flight of stairs. Normally, she ain’t that ugly.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: You used to be Jackie Justice, right?
Jackie Justice: Still am.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Oh, yeah? We’ll see. Well, you had your fifteen minutes of fame. Why are you here?

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: [referring to Jackie] I’m sorry, I just don’t see it. She came in here stinking of cigarettes. She’s full of self-pity. Her technique is lacking. And she’s f***ing old.
Immaculate: Yeah, she’s still got something.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Well, let her join the MILF league then.

Immaculate: You got to get her mad. Jackie, she’s a whole other fighter when she’s mad. Believe me. For real. I mean I’ve seen her fights on YouTube. That s**t she did last night to Werewolf? I mean, she made that b**ch look like a chihuahua.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: I got five other girls, all stronger, faster, younger. And none of them ever did what she did in a fight that big.
Immaculate: Yeah, because none of them ever been in a fight that big, and none of them have ever fought in the UFC. Jackie, she was killing game in the UFC.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: [to Jackie] I’m only going to say this once. I want you here every day on time. I ain’t asking for one hundred percent. I want two-fifty. You got any excuses, you give them to me now.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: You don’t look like no UFC, Justice!

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: You know better than that. Don’t you ever not protect yourself in my ring again. Do you hear me? You hear me?
Jackie Justice: Yeah.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Okay, you’re done, Betty White!
Pops: Betty White ain’t no slouch.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: I tried to make you quit. But you just wouldn’t die, would you?
Jackie Justice: I just got a kid.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Oh, s**t. Newborn?
Jackie Justice: Six.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Adopted?
Jackie Justice: Nope. Mine. But that’s a long story. I’m going to have to tell you that another time.

Jackie Justice: You got a kid?
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Short story. I’ll tell you another time.

Jackie Justice: [referring to Manny] Why would you put the boy’s papers in the oven?
Angel: The oven don’t work. I puts my things in there. Thieves, and burglars, and junkies, ain’t none of them clever enough to look in the damn oven.

Jackie Justice: [to Manny] So you ain’t talking. And I guess now you ain’t eating. Look, I know you don’t know me. And guess what? I don’t know you either. We strangers right now. But what I do know is, you’re going to have to eat, and you’re going to have to start talking. Because I’m all you got.

Immaculate: You know, when I got out, a man gave me a second chance, Jackie. Now a few years later, I’m sitting here with you. Offering you a chance. To fight for the flyweight championship belt against Lady Killer on January 24th.

Immaculate: Listen, a lot of people, man, they saw what you did in the UFC. Hey, you was bad b**ch then. Damn! But that was like what, four years ago, or some s**t? Yeah. Well, now, this is your shot, Jackie. This is your shot to show the UFC, to show all of them the real Jackie Justice. You feel me? You going to take it?
Jackie Justice: A title fight? Yeah, I’m going to take it.

Immaculate: [referring to Desi] You were ten-and-oh. On track for a title fight. And then your mans got desperate and threw you in a match you weren’t even close to being ready for, and you became a joke. Yeah, you, Jackie. You.

Immaculate: [referring to Desi] Look, I get it. To his face, I’ll always be respectful, that I promise you. But your man’s incompetent, Jackie. And this is why he has no other fighters. And everyone knows it. I’m sorry, but that’s the truth. I bet you haven’t slept good in the past four years, huh? I know. So maybe this is your shot for you to lay your head down at night on your pillow with dignity again. Dignity, Jackie. And maybe a championship belt.

Desi: What did you sign, Jackie? How could you sign anything without me?
Jackie Justice: Because, I’m grown. You don’t tell me what to do!

Jackie Justice: [referring to Desi] Look at me, Manny. I’m not going to let that man hurt you. Okay? I’m Big and you’re Little. And Big protects Little. Okay? You hear me?

Jackie Justice: Lady Killer? She a beast, man. I don’t know if I can take her. She the real deal.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: We just got to study some of her footage. Your real power is in grappling. I mean, if you can get her to the ground, you’re in with a chance. Question is, what are you going to do if she stays standing?
Jackie Justice: Yeah, that’s a good question.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: You know, Jack. You could have taken that girl that night, if you’d stayed with it. I mean brutal, brutal first round. But you could have taken her.

Jackie Justice: [after she leaves Desi] We need a place to stay. Don’t worry, I ain’t going to be here long. I just need to be here till I get me some money. I’m going to be out.
Angel: Let me guess. You got yourself a big fight you could win. Is that right? Jackie finally pulling it together.
Jackie Justice: I can stay in this one, Angel.

Jackie Justice: Oh, you ain’t sober?
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: No, no, no. I just don’t drink. I used to. And I may do again. But, you know, right now, I could drink, or I could have a life. I choose life.

Jackie Justice: So what’s your short story?
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: I had a wife. I had a kid. Got divorced. She took him and left. Haven’t heard from her in two years.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: So what’s your long story?
Jackie Justice: That is too long to tell you.

Jackie Justice: You seem to do everything right.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: No one decides to become all zen, and practice meditation and all that, because they did everything right.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: [to Jackie] Listen. About your mother. You’re off your game because of your history with her. Now, if its historical, it’s hysterical. And if you’re hysterical, and getting all worked up, she’s going to wipe the floor with you. Come and see me if you ever want to talk. Now, get the f*** out.

Jackie Justice: I don’t know why in hell I came back here, mama. Because you still exactly the same.
Angel: Oh, you came back here for free rent, free childcare, free everything!
Jackie Justice: Oh. Well, watch how fast I get my a** up out of here.
Angel: Alright. Get on up out of here then. Fast too.

Angel: I spoiled you as a child. Yeah, gave you everything.
Jackie Justice: You spoiled me? You destroyed me. And you wasn’t no damn mama.

Jackie Justice: [to Manny] You scared? I used to be scared when I was little too. Sometimes I’m still scared. But Big is going to be okay.

Jackie Justice: So that’s what I am?
Immaculate: Yeah.
Jackie Justice: I’m just a tomato can?
Immaculate: Oh, you hope to live to even be that.

Angel: [referring to Manny] I’m taking custody now.
Jackie Justice: Wait. What?
Angel: You homeless, and you ain’t fit.
Jackie Justice: Yeah, but I’m his mother.

Angel: You really need to get your s**t together.
Jackie Justice: Mama, I’m trying to do that. I’m a fighter.
Angel: Well, you ain’t a mother, that’s for certain. Manny’s staying here. And if you f*** with me, I’ll call Child Services.
Jackie Justice: [to Manny] I’m sorry, Little.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Okay, Jack. We’re going to win this fight, yeah? Yeah. F*** Immaculate. Let him throw you in as a can. That’s fine. Our best revenge is we shock the world, yeah?
Jackie Justice: Yeah.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Okay, let’s go!

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Are you scared?
Jackie Justice: Yeah. You want to know why I jumped the cage? Because it was my first fight after I left Manny.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Yeah, I guessed.
Jackie Justice: I saw his little face, and I got scared. So I ran. And then I got to Vegas. And I got scared again. So I ran. I ran. Like I always do.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: You ain’t a coward, Jack. Never was. What, you think you deserved to lose in Vegas? You grew up with damage, and survived on rage, and that rage carried you into the ring. With all that rage turned inward your greatest weapon was pointing right back at you. But that was then. So, what you going to do now? Hm? Point that cannon back at yourself? Or point it at Lady Killer? Show them what you’re made of, and get some money, because you deserve that. You deserve every good thing in this world.

Jackie Justice: You’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever met. Nobody has ever made me feel like you do.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: That’s good.
Jackie Justice: But I got to figure my life out.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: I thought that’s what you been doing. That’s exactly what you’ve been doing.
Jackie Justice: Yeah. But I got to do it alone. By myself. For myself. For my son.

Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Why can’t we do that together?
Jackie Justice: Because I’m not ready for a new relationship. I’m just. I’m not ready.
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: So why did you do this?
Jackie Justice: Because I needed to.

Pops: It’s go time. You got to get in there and get this thing done. You’ve got a plan. Now it’s your job to go out there and execute it. I’m in it to win it. How about you?
Jackie Justice: Yeah.
Pops: Alright. Well go out there and be Jackie Justice.

Yves: [commentating on the game, referring to Jackie] If this is the woman that won ten fights in a row that woman can do it. The woman that jumped out of the cage? I don’t think so.

Yves: Payback is a dish best served on your feet!

Yves: For those of you thinking leg kicks don’t win fights, you’ve never been leg-kicked.

Yves: [referring to Jackie] She may be beaten. She’s not done.

Yves: Can you believe what we’re seeing out of Jackie Justice?
Jules: This is a championship fight.
Yves: Four years out of the cage to come back and bring this level to the table.

Pops: [to Jackie] This is the final round. You see what you can do? Go out there and light her a** up Yeah? Yeah, I see it. I see it.

Yves: [after Jackie loses] Justice is being served some love by this Boardwalk crowd tonight.
Jules: Yeah. Man, we may have a champion in name, but we’ve got a champion in heart on the other side.
Yves: Justice is the people’s champion tonight.

Jackie Justice: [seeing Bobbi looking beaten up] What happened to you?
Bobbi Buddhakan Berroa: Long story. Very long story. You stayed in there, Jack. You didn’t need me at that fight. I mean, I wish I had chosen another way to prove it to you, because this s**t f***ing hurts. But you had it all in you.

Jackie Justice: [as Manny toucheds her bruised face] I’m okay. Big is okay. You were with me, Manny. Little helped Big. And I’m okay. I mean, I’m a little bruised up. But I’m good. And I’m going to get us an apartment. For Big and for Little. If that’s what you want. And I ain’t never wanted nothing more in my whole life. So, I know I got a lot I got to prove to you. If you give me a chance.

Jackie Justice: You know where we’re going, Manny? Me neither. And it’s okay. We going to figure it out. What? Oh. Okay. Let me tie these shoelaces. You’ll fall on these.
Manny: [speaks for the first time] Thank you, Big.
