Spy thriller directed and co-written by Simon Kinberg. The women put aside rivalries and distrust to form a faction, code-named 355 after the first woman spy in the American Revolution.

Best Quotes
Larry Marks: [as they’re watching Mace practice fighting] No close contact, huh?
Mace: They get close, I get hurt.
Nick Fowler: Yeah, you fight like you date.
Mace: Oh, you want to talk about your dating history, big guy?
Larry Marks: Another time.
Mace: Why don’t we have a team on this?
Nick Fowler: It’s a simple drop, Mace. He could’ve sold that thing on the black market for a lot more, but he just wants three mil for him and his family to disappear.
Mace: What a guy.
Nick Fowler: You ever consider it?
Mace: What? Committing high treason, or starting a family?
Nick Fowler: Take your pick.
Mace: No. I haven’t.
Nick Fowler: Because you love the job.
Mace: One of us has to.
Nick Fowler: [referring to their cover story] You do know what honeymooners do, right? When they’re on their honeymoon, in the most romantic city in the world, Ethel?
Mace: You call me Ethel again, you’re going to wish you got me a smaller ring.
Mace: [as Nick kisses her] You’re my best friend. I don’t have anybody else.
Nick Fowler: I know.
Mace: And I don’t want to mess this up.
Nick Fowler: Tell me you never thought about it.
[we then see them sleep together]
Mace: It’s a little cliché, no?
Nick Fowler: What?
Mace: Honeymoon in Paris.
Nick Fowler: Just because it’s cliché it doesn’t mean it’s not romantic.
Mace: Well, that depends on your definition of romance.
Luis Rojas: I never knew you worked in the field.
Graciela Rivera: No, I never did. Till now.
Luis Rojas: They sent you here because they thought I would trust you. Right? That I would give you my secrets.
Graciela Rivera: Do you have secrets?
Larry Marks: [referring to Nick’s death] Officially, I can’t put you on this. I said it’s not an inquisition, but there is an investigation. But if you were to go out on your own, decided you needed to avenge the death of your teammate, I could understand how that might happen.
Mace: I would need some help.
Khadijah Adiyeme: I’m guessing this isn’t a social call.
Mace: And straight to the point.
Khadijah Adiyeme: So get to it.
Mace: There’s a package, odds are it’s still in Paris, but I don’t know for sure. We need to retrieve it.
Khadijah Adiyeme: We?
Mace: I’m out on my own now.
Khadijah Adiyeme: Yes, you are. I’m not in the field anymore. I’m done with that life.
Mace: Everyone always says that.
Khadijah Adiyeme: I say it because it’s true.
Mace: Hope you don’t mind. I let myself in.
Khadijah Adiyeme: Getting into the room isn’t the same as getting in.
Mace: You didn’t ask the question. And you didn’t ask the question because you don’t want to know the answer.
Khadijah Adiyeme: Correct.
Mace: You know those, the old wars? Cold War. War on Terror. We knew who we were fighting. But now the enemy’s invisible. Like ghosts in a machine.
Mace: [referring to the drive] You know the kind of people who’ll be gunning to get a hold of this. And you know what they’ll do with it. They can control any part of the world from the simple reach of their keyboard. Everything you said on that stage was right. Everything except one thing. The threat isn’t on the horizon. It’s here. Right now. They get this, they start World War III.
Khadijah Adiyeme: The war would be over before we could even fight back.
Mace: I cannot do this without you, Dij. You’re the best in the world at what you do.
Khadijah Adiyeme: [referring to Luis] How did he get the drive in the first place?
Mace: Grabbed it in a cartel raid. The idiot didn’t even know what he had. He tried to sell it for a lousy three mil.
Khadijah Adiyeme: It’s a blind spot.
Mace: Can you get a satellite or something so we can see in there?
Khadijah Adiyeme: The definition of “blind” is “can’t see”.
Abdul: You’re going to need these if you’re going back into the field. I thought this was done.
Khadijah Adiyeme: So did I.
Graciela Rivera: This is not DGSE headquarters.
Marie Schmidt: It’s a safe house.
Graciela Rivera: No, I do not feel safe.
Graciela Rivera: I need to call home.
Marie Schmidt: No, wait. We don’t know how deep this goes. How deep your agency has been infiltrated.
Graciela Rivera: No, I’m not talking about my agency. I’m talking about my family.

Marie Schmidt: What do you know about the drive?
Graciela Rivera: Nothing.
Marie Schmidt: Don’t talk to me like I’m one of your children. I’m an agent just like you.
Graciela Rivera: I’m not an agent. I’m a psychologist. I was sent here to analyze one of our agents.
Mace: [pointing their guns at each other] Hands!
Marie Schmidt: You have ten seconds to put your gun down!
Khadijah Adiyeme: Mace.
Marie Schmidt: You have a new partner.
Mace: You got the last one killed.
Marie Schmidt: What are you talking about?
Mace: You’re working with the Colombian?
Marie Schmidt: You Americans are so stupid. Nine!
Graciela Rivera: She was not working with him. Please put the guns down.
Khadijah Adiyeme: We all want the same thing here.
Mace: No, we don’t.
Khadijah Adiyeme: Go on. Go ahead. Pull the trigger. Kill each other. Listen, I get it. You keep botching each other’s ops. I’d be pi**ed off too. But the only way we are going to accomplish anything is if we join forces.
Mace: Are you crazy?
Khadijah Adiyeme: The enemy of my enemy is my friend! We have a common enemy. I’m just suggesting you lower the guns long enough for us to sort this out and get on with it.
Marie Schmidt: Who are you?
Khadijah Adiyeme: Khadijah. MI6. Marie, you’ve met Mace.
Marie Schmidt: How do you know my name?
Mace: We’re spies, a**hole.
Graciela Rivera: I’m not going with you. I’m going home.
Mace: But we can’t do this without your fingerprints.
Graciela Rivera: That is not my problem.
Marie Schmidt: Oh, it is if you want to keep them attached to your body.
Graciela Rivera: I’m sorry. I have a family. I’m not an agent. I’m a therapist. And this is really not for me.
Mace: You know what else may not be for you? Is explaining to your kids why the whole world is on fire, because the bad guys got a hold of the device before we did. We’re the only ones who can prevent that from happening.
Graciela Rivera: Sorry.
Mace: Okay, how about this? Those same guys are out there right now looking for you. You go home, you bring them with you. Graciela, we really need your help. But more importantly, you need ours.
Marie Schmidt: No one to call?
Mace: You got him killed when you blew the op at the café.
Marie Schmidt: Yeah. That’s the thing with partners. They get killed. Or they kill you.
Mace: Is that some kind of threat?
Marie Schmidt: Yes. Yes, it is.
Graciela Rivera: [referring to Khadijah’s partner, Abdul] You lie to protect him? You have children?
Khadijah Adiyeme: No.
Graciela Rivera: It gets harder to lie.
Marie Schmidt: [to Graciela] You just handle the phone. I’ll handle the guns.
