We’ll add the best quotes once the movie is released and we’ve had a chance to watch it, but for now, here’s a small selection.
Elderly Joe Rantz: There are some moments in life you never forget.

Joyce Simdars: [to Joe] They’re announcing the team today. Are you going to make it?
Elderly Joe Rantz: We rowed out of need. The need to stay in school. The need to eat. To sleep.
Joe Rantz: We got to keep these, right? Long as we stay on the team.
Rowing Announcer: Washington Huskies coach is bringing an inexperienced boat to the competition.
Elderly Joe Rantz: They said we couldn’t compete with the richest schools in the nation. They said we couldn’t beat the Germans. But they didn’t understand who we were.

Coach Tom Bolles: [to Ulbrickson] I got nine seconds under the course record.

George Pocock: That bunch of kids rowed like no one else that’s ever come through here.
Coach Al Ulbrickson: Everybody else tires, and they just get stronger.
Coach Al Ulbrickson: We have a boat that I believe could qualify for an Olympic spot.
Man: [to Ulbrickson] I hope you know what you’re doing.
Joe Rantz: We got to beat those other schools first, but coach says we have a shot.
Coach Al Ulbrickson: Maybe we can row as a team!
Bobby Moch: If you guys don’t get yourselves figured out, you’re not racing at all!
Joe Rantz: The boys, that boat, it’s all I got.
Bobby Moch: Let’s show them what’s in this boat.
Rowing Announcer: I don’t believe what I’m seeing!
George Pocock: The best boats, they’re connected. Sweat and pain.
Coach Al Ulbrickson: For what it’s worth, I’m proud of you boys.
Coach Tom Bolles: Inspiring.
Coach Al Ulbrickson: Well, you missed the part where I told them not to tip over.
Coach Al Ulbrickson: Row for your country! Row for each other!
