Story: Horror written and directed by Robert Eggers. Set in New England, 1630, The Witch (2015) follows William and Katherine (Ralph Ineson and Kate Dickie), who lead a devout Christian life, but after getting cast out of their colonial plantation are forced to survive living along the edge of a vast wilderness rumored to be controlled by witches. When one of their five children goes missing and their life-sustaining crops fail, they fall victim to paranoia and fear as they begin to turn on one another. The decimation of their family unit creates an opportunity for incredible evil to emerge and attempt to destroy them all.

Either you get this movie or you don’t. Those that get this film know how beautiful and rare something like this is. A lot of symbolism.
This a real horror movie. I put in my top five of all times. It’s a masterpiece
It’s sucks, never watch this movie it is terrible. If you had a choice between death and watching this movie choose death, it was honestly that bad. Awful is a step up.
If you wanna see blood and screams every two seconds, go and see Chucky, but if you really wanna see a horror movie, with beatiful and misterious photos and superb music, you should see THE WITCH
