Story: Sci-fi action adventure written and directed by Joss Whedon, which is a continuation of his short-lived TV series Firefly. Set in the future, Serenity (2005) follows the spaceship Serenity, which harbors a psychic fugitive, six rebels, and an assassin in pursuit. The crew battles a totalitarian regime and bloodthirsty creatures, while facing an even greater danger aboard their ship.
