What do you define as famous movie quotes? Well, I like to think of them as movie lines that are so good that they stay in your mind and become part of that movie’s history. They could be snappy–liners or catchphrases, lines uttered by our favorite movie characters, lines from our favorite movies or lines that are a poignant part of the story that have the power to move you personally.

Here you will find carefully handpicked collection of famous movie quotes and lines for you to compare to your own personal lists. This is by no means a definitive list and I will be updating it regularly with more great movie quotes and lines whenever I come across them.
